Our Cabin after Landscaping

As part of our landscaping, we built the stone planters, put in the lawn, put in all the flowers, added the trees, painting the house, sanded and stained the deck and added bark to the driveway

Teresa added the Danish style molding to the top of the garage/guest house. The deck which was gray, was sanded and multi-coated with Brazilian Rosewood Oil.

I always liked this built-in bench. The deck wrapped around the whole house with over 1200 square feet of redwood.

It's silly, but I liked my little stone division between the lawn we put in and the bark mulch we used to cover the gravel drive-way.

This particular part of the deck was so park-like, almost like a mansion's estate. We moved just days after finishing it, so we didn't get to enjoy it much.

Our cats, Clarice (top) and Smudge liked the rebuilt balcony. Teresa replaced all the railings with new redwood and we removed and multi-coated the floorboards.

This is from the lower part of the property (the "lower 40" as we called it) looking back up to the garage. Teresa pruned all the trees Japanese style, we added the lawn. I really liked the split-level style.

At the bottom is our beloved cat, Boots. We inherited her with the property. (She just showed up one Winter). We cared for her, pet her, fed her, and she loved to drink out of the bird fountain. Perhaps my most tranquil Summer memories.

The stone wall Teresa built to separate the trees and garden that shielded the house from the new lawn we had planted.
